#11 November Recap: Web Summit, Side Events, and BGA Activities
November marks BGA’s final major event of the year and a month of activities, thoughts to Christmas, but also to our plans for 2024. It is a month of wrapping up and planning as we move swiftly into December. With the upcoming release of the BGA State of the Industry Report 2023, there is still a lot to come before the year is out!
Events
We wrapped up our events schedule for 2023 in grand fashion with our booth at Web Summit, the largest global tech conference. This enabled us to meet and connect with attendees at the cutting edge of technology and innovation. As usual, we invited several BGA members to join us at the booth, with My NFT Wars by Intense Games (by iLogos) and NFTribes by Qudo (by Blockbastards), who demoed their games to attendees and Gokaden and Clarnium, who showcased their products and services.
We joined forces with Swissborg for a side event that included panel discussions and networking at Human Protocol’s Neconomics event, a two-day Web3 event that ran alongside Web Summit.

Simultaneously, on the other side of the world, our LatAm ambassador, Luis Diego Ruis, attended Blockchain Jungle in Costa Rica, representing BGA in the LatAm and Spanish-speaking region.

If you are still hungry for events, NBX Berlin is around the corner, on the 04–05 December, where BGA will host a small booth with BGA members such as Moonlit Games, CM Games, Wombat & Atomic Hub at the helm on day 1. Pop by the gaming Zone on the 4th floor, booth 8, to say hi.
You can also come and join the BGA-hosted panel discussion on ‘Web3 Gaming: A New Wave of Adoption or Temporary Hype’ with a superb lineup of speakers with Yat Siu from Animoca Brands, Stan Fiedor from WeMade/WeMix, Serge Ajamian, Centauri Digital Assets, Michal Dabrowski, Elympics, Paul Flanagan, CM Games, and Michael Bartczak from Metapro, on the main stage, 4th floor on the 4th of December from 14.30 to 15.20.

Throughout November, we covered some of the latest advancements and innovations in blockchain technology with the BGA, highlighting the projects that some of our members are working on.
Stability is building a tokenless public blockchain — a game changer for non-crypto-native gamers to access web3 games by removing the friction of purchasing tokens. You can read more about this here.

New Members’ Presentation (NMP)
We welcome new members into the BGA each month and invite them to pitch their game, product, or service in the NMP. This month, we hosted two NMPs to introduce just some of the new members we have recently welcomed into the Alliance.
Part 1. In the first session, we were joined by Sovereign Nature Initiative, Engines of Fury, PwC, TypeGo, and Stability Protocol, who talked about the exciting projects they are building.
Part 2 featured yet more awesome projects. Openfort, Nodanomics, Teknos Associates, Galaxy4Games, and WAM took part in this livestream to talk about the projects they are working on.
Demo Day
Always a fun event featuring great demos and goodies to be won, enabling viewers to be part of this livestream. This month, we hosted two demo days with a dynamic lineup of great demos.
Part 1 featured N Suite, Legends of Elysium, Curve Reality, and Hotpot.
In Part 2, we were joined by 1BITLAB Technology, The Unfettered, Galaxy4games, and Nodanomics for more fun showcases.
