We aim to foster collaboration and innovation among our members, which include market makers, lawyers, VCs, game publishers, game studios, PR & marketing agencies, and more.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting new companies to join the BGA, developing compelling pitches, negotiating partnership agreements, and representing the alliance at industry events. This role requires a deep understanding of the Web3 gaming space and blockchain technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Recruitment: Attract new companies to join the Blockchain Game Alliance and proactively identify and reach out to key actors in the Web3 Gaming space.
- Pitch Development: Create compelling presentations to showcase the alliance’s value proposition.
- Negotiation: Structure and finalize partnership and membership agreements.
- Partnership Acquisition: Identify and secure new strategic partnerships for the alliance.
- Industry Networking: Represent the alliance at gaming and blockchain events to expand its reach.
- Reporting and Metrics: Track and report on membership growth and engagement, partnership development, and revenue growth.
- Competitive Analysis: Keep track of other blockchain gaming initiatives and alliances.
- Revenue Growth: Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities for the alliance.
- Local BD Performance: Be responsible for the performance of local business development teams.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new companies recruited
- Conversion rate
- Number of leads
- Revenue generated
- Local BD performance (targets met, new leads generated)
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the gaming or blockchain industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and networking skills.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Web3 gaming space and blockchain technology.
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills to track and report on KPIs and competitive analysis.
