Meet our Speakers
Benjamin James, Founder & CEO at 404
Ben James is the Founder of 404, Bittensor Subnet 17, where he leads the democratization of 3D content creation. 404 empowers users to build virtual worlds, games, and AR/VR/XR experiences by leveraging the decentralized capabilities of the Bittensor network and advanced 3D generative models. The project enables creators to manifest their visions in real time without technical expertise, driving innovation in both 3D content creation and decentralized networks. In addition to 404, Ben is also the CEO and Founder of Atlas, a 3D generative AI platform focused on enhancing creativity in gaming and virtual world-building.
Ben graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC and earned a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. His work has been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the A+D Museum in Los Angeles, the Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York, the Architecture Biennale in Venice, and the Architectural Association visiting school in China.
