BGA Unleashes Web3 Gaming at Gamescom 2023

BGA is excited to head to Gamescom next week. Head over to our booth for the best of blockchain gaming. We will be in Hall 2.2 at booth B029 and have 19 awesome projects demoing their games and products. As well as a hive of activity at the booth, BGA will participate in panel discussions and organize meet-ups for the community over the three days. We are excited to make new connections and meet industry professionals to discover what they are working on and showcase our work and how you can get involved.

You can pick up our Gamescom magazine, which is packed with the latest industry news and BGA activities during the event. You are also welcome to come and grab a copy at the BGA booth.

What’s Inside?

  • Interviews with leading industry professionals
In this edition, we had the opportunity to interview Hideaki Uehara from Square Enix, one of the largest global game developers and publishers with titles such as final fantasy and the action-RPG Kingdom Hearts series, to talk about all things blockchain and gaming.
We had the chance to catch up with Elina Arponen, CEO of Quicksave Interactive, a studio developing web2 and web3 games and development tools for the new social games market, and have worked on titles such as Axie Ray of Light to talk about the differences of building games traditional and blockchain game development.
  • Web2 to web3 gaming, integrating blockchain technology
If you are a web2 developer looking to transition to web3, we have a special pull-out guide written in collaboration with our members to outline some of the different blockchain features to consider. Find out firsthand the challenges and solutions from Antler Interactive, an interactive game studio that makes cool games with great technology, including My Neighbor Alice, their latest blockchain-based game.
