Transak is revolutionizing digital finance by offering fiat on/off-ramps to help applications to be accessible to global users through blockchain rails.
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial VP of Strategy and Partnerships to join our team in Miami. This senior role will drive strategic growth by developing and managing key partnerships with banks, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and vendors across North America, the UK, and Europe. You will play an essential part in expanding Transak’s market reach, working with product managers to launch complex, zero-to-one product lines and enter new market segments and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture strong relationships with banks, PSPs, and other key vendors to drive new partnerships and manage existing ones effectively.
- Product Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers to identify and launch new product lines, market segments, and geographies, bringing innovative solutions to market.
- Market Expansion: Use your expertise in payments, banking, and blockchain to discover opportunities for Transak to expand its footprint and enhance product offerings in emerging markets.
- Cost Management: Take responsibility for the unit economics of our product as a core performance metric, ensuring efficient and profitable partnerships.
- Corporate Development: Leverage experience in corporate development, including buy-side acquisitions, to identify and assess growth opportunities for Transak.
- Travel & Representation: Represent Transak at industry conferences and high-level meetings across North America, the UK, and Europe, building our presence in the global fintech community.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in business development, partnerships, product, and/or corporate development, ideally within payments, blockchain, and/or other financial services.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of payments, banking, and blockchain, with a track record of launching new products and entering new markets. Knowledge and appreciation for compliance and the “slower moving” parts of the financial ecosystem such as banks.
- Corporate Development: Background in corporate development and buy-side acquisitions is a strong plus.
- Product Acumen: Experience in working with product teams to bring complex products from concept to market.
- Languages: Multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication across diverse markets.
- Location: Based in Miami, FL, with the ability to travel for conferences and meetings.
